Villa 21 Apartment in Jūrmala

Villa 21 Apartment in Jūrmala

Residential complex “Villa 21” is located in an exclusive part of Jūrmala, only 70 meters from the seashore. The complex of buildings designed two modern three-storey buildings with a rooftop terrace. The complex hosted 30 exclusive apartments with a total area of each apartment from 106 to 215 m2. The building has its own sports complex with sauna and swimming pool in it.

This apartment primary serves a leisure house where the owners come only on weekends. 120 m2 small apartment is inhabited by a family of seven people. This characteristic is one of the most important factors which influenced the concept of interior architecture. Small area –  for a large family.

Two significant environmental components of the building “Villa 21” – sea and pine trees – have motivated the creation of such interior where natural decoration materials meet – different wooden textures, glass, and specular surfaces. The white tone here is dominating which serves as a basis of simple shapes, different textures, and furniture. Whereas the yacht-style floor made of high-quality material makes the interior look subtle and elegant.

Functional plan of the flat is formed by the trajectory of the circle with a central part that can walk around. Apartment spatial center consists of a sizable construction, which includes a number of functions – corridor closet, kitchen area, transformable table and video-audio equipment area.
